Tomás Frazer conducts the Camerata Sete Colinas in a benefit concert for the Samora Correia firefighters, in tribute to his father, cellist Kenneth Frazer, featuring Mendelssohn's double concerto and the premiere of Evocations by Gabriel Williams.

Fifteen years ago, Kenneth Frazer, principal cellist at the Teatro São Carlos, died in a car accident in which his family was travelling, including his son Tomás Frazer. Today, Tomás Frazer conducts the Camerata Sete Colinas and pays tribute to his father with a benefit concert for the Samora Correia firefighters, who rescued and freed them from the wreckage after the accident. The programme will feature two soloists with international careers: Anthony Flint and Elizabeth Allen, who will perform Mendelssohn's double concerto. It also includes the premiere of Evocations, by composer Gabriel Williams, winner of the Alfred Schnittke Prize (2023) and Musica per Archi (2017).
