Install app

Keep WhatsUp Lisbon a tap away on your home screen or desktop. No app store needed.

  1. In Chrome or Edge, look for the install icon in the address bar, or “Install WhatsUp Lisbon” in the browser menu.
  2. On a Mac with Safari, choose File → Add to Dock. On Android, look in the browser menu for “Install app” or “Add to Home screen”.

If your browser has no install option, bookmark this page or open it in Chrome, Edge or Safari. Already installed? Open it from your apps.

Live listings need a connection. Only content already stored on this device may be available offline.

You can browse without an account. This page explains the data used to run the guide and respond to you.

Feedback and email

If you submit feedback, we store the message, its category, submission time and any optional email address you provide. We use these to investigate your suggestion or correction and reply. A copy is sent through Resend to the site owner’s Gmail inbox. Email sent to hello@whatsuplisbon.com is also received through Resend and forwarded to that inbox, including any attachments.

Storage and deletion

Feedback and delivery records are kept in the site’s database; email copies are kept in the owner’s inbox. There is currently no automatic expiry for these records. Please avoid sending sensitive information. To request access, correction or deletion, contact hello@whatsuplisbon.com. Database backups are rotated after 30 days; a removed record can remain in a protected backup until it expires.

On your device

Saved events, language and appearance preferences use browser storage or a language cookie. The installed app can keep downloaded pages and event data for offline use. Clearing this site’s browser data removes those local preferences, saved events and offline copies. Sharing a saved collection includes the selected event IDs in its link, so anyone with that link can see the collection.

Hosting and external content

The site is hosted on DigitalOcean. Your IP address is used temporarily to limit feedback spam; hosting and email providers may process technical connection and delivery information. Maps and event images can load from external providers, which receive the network information needed to deliver them. Following organizer or ticket links takes you to sites with their own privacy practices.
