Saturday 14 November · 17:00
As part of the V World Music Week at BOTA, the quintet LUMBRE performs an intimate concert of South American roots music — zambas, chacareras, huaynos and milongas — in original arrangements for voice, piano, 7-string guitar, violin and cello.
Brief Introduction LUMBRE is a quintet that travels through the musical landscapes of South America, from the Andes to the River Plate, revisiting traditional repertoire and presenting original compositions. With a singular line-up of voice, piano, 7-string guitar, violin and cello, the quintet proposes a contemporary reading of South American roots music through original arrangements, where zambas, chacareras, huaynos, milongas and other genres cross with different musical languages. LUMBRE offers an intimate concert, marked by rhythmic richness, by the dialogue between the instruments and by the diversity of the continent's musical traditions. Prices Entrance - 10€
