Breve Introdução MAATuridades é um programa dedicado a um público adulto e sénior, onde temas da contemporaneidade serão apresentados através de discursos artísticos abordados na programação expositiva do museu. Num diálogo aberto, entre diferentes gerações e experiências de vida, as sessões (teóricas online) e teórico-práticas (presenciais no museu) funcionam como pontos de encontro para o debate sobre o questionamento do mundo que nos rodeia. Sabemos como as linguagens da arte contemporânea trazem por vezes barreiras ao público, assim como sabemos que em nenhuma outra fase da história da arte se apelou tanto à participação do espetador. O desafio é grande e o diálogo profícuo. As sessões são online e presenciais, divididas mensalmente entre dois espaços, um via Zoom e outro no museu. A cada temporada haverá uma sessão aberta em parceria com a Biblioteca de Belém, rede de Biblioteca de Lisboa. Objetivos do programa Aproximar o público adulto e sénior do discurso da arte contemporânea. Fornecer ferramentas de possibilidades de descodificação do discurso dos artistas atuais. Fomentar o ponto de encontro entre discursos, linguagens e narrativas que o museu promove e que é a sua ação por excelência. Abrir o diálogo entre a experiência de vida individual e geracional com as perspetivas históricas, críticas e curatoriais num caminho de construção de saber coletivo. Informações Adicionais Público-alvo: pessoas ativas e curiosas + 60 anos Lotação máx: 25 pessoas Duração: 90 minutos por sessão Preço: 45€ por temporada (25% desconto para MAAT Friends) Temporadas 2026 1ª temporada ( fevereiro a maio ) A Arte Portuguesa e a Contemporaneidade Internacional Enquanto na primeira metade do século XX as vanguardas artísticas surgiam e prosperavam além-fronteiras, chegavam tímidas a um Portugal em ditadura, com todos os atrasos culturais que daí advêm. É com a Revolução de 1974 que o panorama artístico nacional começa a acompanhar ritmos e experimentações, onde os artistas portugueses expõe e discursam em diferentes contextos internacionais. Assim, é no âmbito da Arte Contemporânea, que, através de núcleos da Coleção de Arte Fundação EDP, iremos enquadrar importantes artistas do nosso país com interesses e manifestações artísticas que se começaram a sentir num folego mais global e intercultural. Goethe dizia que “Arquitetura é Música Petrificada”. Na Arte Contemporânea, as noções de perene deram lugar ao efémero e a petrificação deu lugar à fluidez. Em momento de contaminações de disciplinas, tecnologias, tempos… o som dita-nos pluralidades de ritmos e geografias, trazendo-nos a possibilidade de uma dança a vários corpos e em vários espaços em simultâneo.
