Full details

Synopsis Commented concert by Alexandre Delgado. Beethoven Pilgrimage: from the Apotheosis to the Grand Ending Fuga João Roiz Ensemble In January 2025, the João Roiz Ensemble, in collaboration with Alexandre Delgado, began the Beethoven Pilgrimage 2025-2025, evoking the 200th anniversary of the death of the Van Beethoven (1770, 1827). This national project celebrates the life and work of the composer and his contribution to European humanism. Over three years, the Ensemble performs the complete chamber music of Beethoven — string trios, quartets and string voices — throughout the country. The concerts are commented live by Alexandre S Metro, who enters into a dialogue with the audience, placing each works historically and aesthetically.
