Producer Central Concert Sarl Synopsis The most iconic scores by John Williams and Hans Zimmer: a tribute to the two masters by the Hollywood Symphony Orchestra. Music from some of the greatest Hollywood films, leaving the cinema and taking to the concert stage, in a programme that will move not only film fans but everyone who loves music. The heroism of Star Wars, the daring of Indiana Jones and the magic of Harry Potter inspired John Williams to create some of the most beloved film scores of all time. With blazing brass and soaring strings, this orchestral concert highlights the phenomenal composer whose music defined cinema for three generations, with themes from Superman, Jurassic Park, Raiders of the Lost Ark and Saving Private Ryan among dozens that have become classics in their own right. Since the 1980s, Zimmer has provided knockout music for box-office hits including Gladiator, Inception, Sherlock Holmes, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Dark Knight Trilogy and the multi-award-winning The Lion King, as well as numerous other film and television projects. Hans Zimmer has created shimmering sound worlds that evoke eras from Ancient Rome to the distant future. Supplementary Notes Expected duration of the event: 2h. There is an interval.
