A Portuguese Competition session with two world premieres eligible for the Short Film Award: Inês Sapeta Dias's The House Is the Ruin of a House, which maps a century-old house standing in the mouth of a giant, nearly extinct volcano, and Raul Domingues's Hipogeus, inspired by the archaeoacoustics of prehistoric tombs. Nazareth is a Scottish band that, since 1968, has helped define the sound of hard rock. Its unmistakable raspy voice, powerful guitar riffs and ballads that have become classics are known to several generations of fans around the world. On 18 December, the band takes the stage in Lisbon for a great live concert. A night full of legendary songs, impeccable sound and that authentic rock'n'roll atmosphere that simply cannot be recreated at home. It will be intense. It will be real. And it will be a night you will not forget. Note on the date change from 3 October to 18 December: We would like to inform you that the Nazareth concert in Lisbon has been rescheduled. Last-minute difficulties related to the finalisation of the contract made it necessary to reschedule the dates, in agreement with the band. 📅 New concert date: 18 December 2026.
