Brief Introduction With Laura Feteira* Schedule: 10:00 am to 1:00 pm Target audience: 16+ Participants: Min. 8 | Max. 15 This workshop will address the process of obtaining gold leaf, an element present in the decoration of folding screens and other pieces from the Museum of the Orient's collection. The activity includes applying gold leaf to papers of different weights, using photocopied images of some museum objects as a support. Participants who wish may bring one or two drawings, photographs or prints to enrich them with the application of gold leaf. Direct observation of pieces from the museum's collection complements the theoretical-practical component of the workshop. Objectives 1. To value the museum's collection through direct observation of pieces that show the use of gold leaf, relating technical aspects to historical and artistic contexts; 2. To learn about the process of obtaining gold leaf; 3. To apply gold leaf to images of museum objects or personal supports (drawings, photographs or prints), exploring their plastic and decorative potential. In case of cancellation: A full refund of the registration fee will be made when cancellation is communicated up to 8 working days before the activity. After that date, a refund can only be considered if the spot is filled or in situations of illness, accident, or other unforeseeable circumstances of force majeure, duly proven. If the activity does not take place due to lack of participants, or for another reason, the registration fee will be refunded in full. There, she carried out collection research, design of playful and educational content, thematic visits, workshops and free courses; development of projects in partnership with schools in the district, and co-curation of exhibitions of the works. Design, organization and teaching of accredited long-term training actions (ALD), and credited for recruitment groups 240, 530 and 600, namely the courses As Viagens da Folha de Ouro, Em Transformação I, Da Linha à Mancha, Do Pé para a Mão; the workshop As Novas Viagens da Folha de Ouro. The short-duration action (ACD), validated, Recriar e Errar é Preciso, taught online. Trainer certification in the area and field of Graphic Arts/Visual Arts, with registration CCPFC/RFO-38920/2018 by the Scientific-Pedagogical Council for Continuing Education. Until August 31, 2016, she was a professionalized teacher of Secondary Education and the 3rd cycle in public schools, in educational establishments on the mainland and on the island of Madeira, and also at the Portuguese School of Luanda, Angola, teaching the subjects of Drawing A, Project Area, Art Workshop, and History of Culture and Arts in the Scientific-Humanistic Course of Visual Arts and in level IV professional courses. She held positions of pedagogical coordination, evaluation of teaching performance, direction of professional courses and class direction. Coordination of the Department of Expressions. Master's degree in Educational Sciences, Pedagogical Innovation.

A atividade inclui a aplicação de folha de ouro sobre papéis de diferentes gramagens, utilizando como suporte imagens fotocopiadas de alguns objetos museológicos. Os participantes que o desejem poderão trazer um ou dois desenhos, fotografias ou gravuras para os enriquecer com a aplicação de folha de ouro. A observação direta de peças da coleção do museu complementa a componente teórico-prática da oficina. Objetivos 1. Valorizar a coleção do museu através da observação direta de peças que evidenciam a utilização da folha de ouro, relacionando os aspetos técnicos com os contextos históricos e artísticos; 2. Conhecer o processo de obtenção da folha de ouro; 3. Aplicar a folha de ouro em imagens de objetos museológicos ou em suportes pessoais (desenhos, fotografias ou gravuras), explorando as suas potencialidades plásticas e decorativas. Em caso de desistência: Haverá lugar ao reembolso do valor total da inscrição quando a desistência for comunicada até 8 dias úteis antes da actividade. Depois dessa data, o reembolso só poderá ser considerado se o lugar for preenchido ou em situações de doença, acidente, ou outros imponderáveis de força maior, devidamente comprovados.
