The concert Canto ao Entardecer brings together the collective Retimbrar and the Coro Infantil da Voz do Operário in the CCB's Grand Auditorium, treating Portuguese traditional music as living material rather than a closed repertoire. Part of the NOMAD Project, the show uses songs, rhythms and stories to create a dialogue between memory, childhood and the present.

🎤 Retimbrar and Coro Infantil da Voz do Operário join tradition and new questions at the CCB Canto ao Entardecer brings together the collective Retimbrar and the Coro Infantil da Voz do Operário in a concert that looks at Portuguese traditional music as living material. Instead of presenting tradition as a closed repertoire, the show uses songs, rhythms and stories to create a dialogue between memory, childhood and the present. Part of the NOMAD Project, the concert symbolically accompanies the passage into autumn and uses dusk as an image of time, growth and what changes without disappearing completely.
