Synopsis And if we could defeat death? BLUR presents a new myth for the modern era, in which science has changed the way we view life and death. With cloning and advances in the biology of resurrection, the boundaries between the living and the dead, the natural and the artificial, become blurred. This theatrical production marks the encounter between Phi Studio, by Phoebe Greenberg, an immersive design studio from Montreal at the forefront of extended reality, and Riverbed Theatre, a Taiwanese theatre company directed by Craig Quintero, which explores the boundaries between visual and performing arts with recurring surrealism. Inspired by the Theatre of the Absurd, inhabited by hybrid creatures and AI entities, BLUR meets the present moment, unfolding as a dreamlike scenario that oscillates between the real and the virtual, leading participants on a reflective journey about ethics, identity, mourning, and eternity. Sinopse E se conseguíssemos derrotar a morte? BLUR apresenta um novo mito para a era moderna, em que a ciência alterou a forma como encaramos a vida e a morte. Com a clonagem e os avanços na biologia da ressurreição, esbatem-se as fronteiras entre os vivos e os mortos, o natural e o artificial. Esta produção teatral marca o encontro entre o Phi Studio, de Phoebe Greenberg, um estúdio de design imersivo de Montreal, na vanguarda da realidade estendida, e o Riverbed Theatre, uma companhia teatral de Taiwan, dirigida por Craig Quintero, que explora as fronteiras entre as artes visuais e performáticas com recorrente surrealismo. Inspirada pelo Teatro do Absurdo, habitada por criaturas híbridas e entidades IA, BLUR vai ao encontro do momento presente, desenrolando-se como um cenário onírico, que oscila entre o real e o virtual e leva os participantes numa viagem reflexiva sobre ética, identidade, luto e eternidade.
