Full details

Synopsis Accessibility: Performance with Portuguese Sign Language interpretation on 20 March. Between new compositions and original arrangements for ensemble and orchestra, in his Carte Blanche at CCB, Bruno Pernadas constructs a musical and visual narrative in which video, electronics and acoustic instrumentation merge into a single theatrical device, where the performative use of the word and references to the artistic universe of Robert Rayt Ashley, David Byrne or Laurie Anderson expand a proposal that challenges aesthetic and formal boundaries. The concert also includes a tribute to José Mário Branco, evoking his passage through CCB in 1997 through a suite created from some of his most striking themes. Additional Information The Centro Cultural de Belém Foundation reserves the right to capture, store and use image, sound and voice recordings in order to disseminate and preserve memory, both of its cultural and artistic activities and of its spaces.
