Égide – Portuguese Association of Arts presents nine recitals at the Parish Church of Nossa Senhora do Rosário de Fátima celebrating St Francis of Assisi 800 years after his death, curated by conductor Nuno Miguel de Almeida. The cycle opens on 7 October with the University of Lisbon Children's and Youth Choir and admission is free.

Égide, Associação Portuguesa das Artes (Portuguese Association of Arts), promotes, between October and December, the Ciclo Áureo (Golden Cycle) at the Parish Church of Nossa Senhora do Rosário de Fátima, presenting a total of nine recitals which, through music, will celebrate the figure and spiritual legacy of St Francis of Assisi 800 years after his death. Curated by conductor Nuno Miguel de Almeida, this cycle traces a path between word and silence, between contemplation and celebration. The inaugural concert, Francisco, takes place on 7 October at 21h30, with the University of Lisbon Children's and Youth Choir, focused on the figure of the Saint of Assisi. Music will be the starting point to better understand the message of St Francis of Assisi and his relationship with nature, fraternity and simplicity. Seven recitals follow, always on Thursdays, until December, drawing on the evocations present in the "Canticle of the Creatures", establishing a relationship between Franciscan spirituality, creation and music.
