Aparição, by Luís Osório, is a 60-minute monologue that takes its starting point from the universe of Aparição, by Vergílio Ferreira, to reflect on creation, literature and the human condition. Between greatness and misery, love and death, talent and destiny, Luís Osório journeys through episodes and paradoxes in the lives of some of Portugal's greatest writers, seeking to understand what determines the success, the genius and the destiny of a life. Premiered at the BABELL Literary Festival at the Torre dos Clérigos, the show proposes a journey through the universe of Portuguese writers and through the questions that run through human existence.
