Pavilhão Julião Sarmento Lisbon

In this family visit-and-workshop, participants tour the exhibitions at Pavilhão Julião Sarmento and practise observational and memory drawing, creating from what they see and from what they experienced in the galleries. The activity is suitable for children aged 5 and up, accompanied by an adult.

Brief Introduction Drawing, drawing Drawing is not a mere tool. It is an environment of freedom, thought and world-making. In this activity, we will practise observational drawing, memory drawing and combinations. We will begin by visiting the exhibitions on display at Pavilhão Julião Sarmento and choose references to draw. At first, we will draw in situ and, in a second moment, we will draw from the experience lived in the exhibitions, face to face with ourselves. Supplementary Notes Minimum age: 5+ (with parental accompaniment) Prices One adult + one child - €5.00 One adult + one child (specific needs*) - €3.50 Extra adult - €2.00 Extra child - €2.00 *Reduced price for adult and/or child with specific needs, upon presentation of proof at ticket validation.
