Synopsis In Mile(s)tones, a percussionist, a pianist and a trumpeter guide us through the fascinating world of the legendary composer and jazz icon Miles Davis. The adventurous and innovative approach to music is the starting point of this production, leading us through a labyrinth of spaces and atmospheres in constant transformation. One moment we may be in the centre of the vibrant creativity of a recording studio or on stage as one of the musicians; the next, we are creating live the soundtrack of a film or in the celebrated musical painting studio. In this concert, we will experience the infinite possibilities of improvised music through Miles Davis's compositions, with members of the renowned Belgian jazz ensemble De Beren Gieren, Fulco Ottervanger and Simon Segers, and trumpeter Bert Bernaerts as ideal guides.
