The acclaimed Nouvelle Vague are back in Portugal for a five-concert tour in February 2027. Known for their unique ability to reinvent post-punk and new wave classics with the softness of bossa nova, the French collective, as is customary in their long concerts, will play classics that marked their career as well as new tracks from their new album, their much-anticipated seventh studio album, "A Date with Depeche Mode", with worldwide release scheduled for 30 October 2026. For the first time in their career, Nouvelle Vague have decided to dedicate an entire album to the repertoire of a single band. On "A Date with Depeche Mode", thirteen iconic songs by the legendary British group are recreated and reinterpreted by new international voices. Recorded between Rio de Janeiro and Paris, the album establishes a perfect dialogue between the Brazilian musical soul, featuring some of the best musicians in Brazil, and the timeless universe of Depeche Mode, all under Nouvelle Vague's unmistakable touch. About this new album, audiences can already anticipate its atmosphere through the first advance singles. "Enjoy the Silence", one of Depeche Mode's main singles, was the first single and is a striking duet between Skye Edwards (Morcheeba) and Larry Love (Alabama 3). Stripped down to its essence, the song gains new life and the video is already available exclusively on YouTube. "Never Let Me Down Again" is an irresistible reinterpretation featuring the warm voice of Brazilian Flávia Coelho, already available on all streaming platforms, including Spotify.
