In Doclisboa2026's International Competition, Ghassan Salhab world-premieres a journey in which personal history is inevitably disturbed by the course of history in Lebanon, set in motion by verses Ahmed Fouad Negm wrote in the early 1970s and that are now sung by a woman with her back turned to the horizon.
