In the exhibition Virtues, Rita Fernandes turns virtues into symbolic pillars through 15 paintings inspired by Greco-Roman architecture, questioning the ethics of governance and the human fragility behind structures of power.
Virtues proposes a reflection on power and responsibility in the contemporary world, transforming virtues into symbolic pillars of a collective experience. Inspired by classical Greco-Roman architecture, the installation of 15 paintings creates a "facade" that questions the ethical principles of governance. Drawings, three-dimensional objects and video expand the route, revealing the instability, fragility and human dimension behind structures of power. The exhibition invites the public to reflect on the values that sustain the exercise of power and civic participation. Thursday to Saturday, from 12h to 24h; Sunday, from 12h to 22h.
