At the 27th French Cinema Festival, Judith Godrèche collaborates with Annie Ernaux to film the writer's memories of her first sexual experience in 1958, exploring the psychological marks of trauma in a work that is at once cinematic and political.

Rather than dramatising the trauma, Godrèche explores its psychological marks, dissociation and shame, in a delicate and deeply human approach that also reveals the mechanisms of silence and conformity that make it possible.
