Anxious to prove his skills and win back his job, he crosses the West Bank and even tries to enter Israel to repair the 50-year-old projector. But as the international initiative gains momentum, Hussein becomes a small cog in the machine. The film is an analysis of development aid in Palestine, exposing the colonial remnants rooted in a policy of "charity for peace", and a tribute to a dying film culture.
