Laurel sabino and jaguilla are two magnolia species endemic to Puerto Rico. For Muñoz, if the magnolias had a language, it would be something akin to avant-garde poetry. On the streets of Algiers, the jacarandas bloom like fragments of memory. In Alea Jacarandas, filmmaker Hassen Ferhani embarks on an intimate journey in which his father's stories outline an affective dictionary of the city. Writing, filming and choosing beauty become acts of resistance. Prices General - 5€ Reduced mobility - 5€
