Weaving together forgotten songs and hidden archives, it tells a different story of oil — not as a commodity, but as a political tool used in the liberation of Palestine and in the construction of pan-Arab solidarity. The final episode of a trilogy on the relationship between the political economy of images, archival technologies and the visual cultures of resource extraction in Western Asia.
