In the exhibition The 8th Petal, Duma presents a new body of paintings inspired by the symbolism of the flower, the sword and the Japanese warrior — a visual metaphor for the silent battles that shape human identity.

In The 8th Petal, Duma presents a new body of work that explores the invisible strength built through experience, resilience and transformation. Inspired by the symbolism of the flower, the sword and the figure of the Japanese warrior, the artist creates a visual metaphor for the silent battles that shape human identity. The “eighth petal”, conceived specifically for this exhibition, represents what remains hidden: quiet courage, invisible scars and the capacity to begin again. True to her pictorial language, marked by the representation of the female figure, Duma invites the public to reflect on the beauty of vulnerability, of permanence and of the strength born from transformation… Monday to Friday, from 11h to 20h; Saturday, from 11h to 16h.
