A tour through the former Central Tejo, the thermal power station built in 1908 that supplied the whole Lisbon region with electricity, telling the story of the old factory and the evolution of electricity up to renewable energies.

A tour through several spaces of the former Central Tejo, the thermal power station built in 1908 that supplied the whole Lisbon region with electricity. Among original machinery in a perfect state of conservation, the story of this old factory is told, as well as the evolution of electricity up to renewable energies. Every day (except Tuesday), at 13h30 and 17h. Free tour upon presentation of a museum entrance ticket.
