Brief Introduction: A visit to discover the continuities and transformations of mythological imagery in the history and heritage of Lisbon. Synopsis: Through a visit to the garden of Palácio Pimenta and the interior of the Museum, Filomena Barata, researcher and specialist in mythology, will speak about the long journey of the gods Apollo and Bacchus. Various ceramic productions of Lisbon will be recalled, some of which are part of the Museum of Lisbon's collection, with emphasis on those of the Real Fábrica do Rato, which produced pieces inspired by mythological themes, such as the Four Seasons series. The luminous city of Lisbon will also be evoked, which featured, in Terreiro do Paço, a statue of Apollo, known through a painting dated 1662, belonging to the Palácio Pimenta collection, as well as the multiple memories of this deity that persist in the music rooms of many palaces of the capital and in their music academies. Breve Introdução Uma visita para descobrir as permanências e transformações do imaginário mitológico na história e no património de Lisboa. Sinopse Através de uma visita ao jardim do Palácio Pimenta e ao interior do Museu, Filomena Barata, investigadora e especialista em mitologia, falará do longo caminho dos deuses Apolo e Baco. Serão recordadas as várias produções cerâmicas de Lisboa, algumas das quais integram o acervo do Museu de Lisboa, com destaque para as da Real Fábrica do Rato, que produziu peças inspiradas em temas mitológicos, como a série das Quatro Estações. Será também evocada a cidade luminosa de Lisboa, que contou, no Terreiro do Paço, com uma estátua de Apolo, conhecida através de uma pintura datada de 1662, pertencente à coleção do Palácio Pimenta, bem como as múltiplas memórias desta divindade que subsistem nas salas de música de muitos palácios da capital e nas suas academias de música.
