A hands-on workshop in the Big Bang festival where participants combine singing and the traditional Portuguese adupe frame drum, mattering how small rhythmic impulses can become a collective flood of sound.

Synopsis BIG BANG LX 26, European Festival of Music and Adventure for Young Audiences Isabel Martinez and Constança Ochoa The hands complement the adufes (frame drums). If placed on a relational web, a single movement, a breath, is enough to create a self-feeding motion that is hard to stop: a flood of beats and voices that gain strength through relationship and multiplication. This is the power of the ensemble: the collective and its memory, materialized in a simple instrument of four boards and a skin.
