Full details

Synopsis Contemporary Jazz Nights, Misty Fest Triple Concert by Laura Misch, Anne Paceo and Mammal Hands On 29 November, Misty Fest brings Contemporary Jazz Nights to the CCB, a triple concert with Laura Misch, Anne Paceo and Mammal Hands. One ticket grants entry to all three concerts. Laura Misch Expanding her electroacoustic palette and drawing inspiration from a lineage of pioneering women in electronic music, saxophonist, singer and multidisciplinary artist Laura Misch has developed work that interweaves her three main voices — saxophone, singing and synthesis — into innovative music, to be performed and released during 2026. For this show, she has drawn on the ancestral sounds of air, water and stone, inviting the audience into deep, contemplative listening through songs and immersive soundscapes. Anne Paceo A leading figure of the current music scene and standard-bearer of the new jazz crossover movement, French drummer and composer Anne Paceo has been highly praised both for her technique and for her musical vision imbued with trance and spirituality. At Misty Fest, she presents Atlantis, her 8th album of original material, inspired by the ocean and all the dimensions of the aquatic element. On stage she is joined by: Maya Cros (keyboards), Lilian Mille (trumpet), Gauthier Toux (piano), Christophe Panzani (saxophone) and Cynthia Abraham (voice). Mammal Hands Combining jazz, contemporary classical, electronica, folk and minimalism, Mammal Hands are at the forefront of a new wave of British artists challenging the boundaries between genres. The trio from Norwich — Jordan Smart (saxophone), Nick Smart (piano) and former GoGo Penguin Rob Turner (drums) — soon won praise from renowned musicians such as Bonobo and Jamie Cullum thanks to their creative approach. Across five albums, they have built an international and loyal fan base, as well as a solid critical reputation for their intense, hypnotic live performances. In Portugal they present Circada, their latest record, with its cinematic, human and poignant sound.
