Commented concert by Susana Henriques. Lisbon Music Academy. Between Samurai and Violins proposes a musical journey inspired by the life and thought of Shinichi Suzuki, a major figure in 20th-century music pedagogy. Born into a lineage of samurai and a member of the family that owned the world's largest instrument factory, his path was marked by a late discovery of the violin, by his time in Berlin, by his friendship with Einstein and by the formulation of the 'mother tongue' principle. This concert celebrates a legacy that combines discipline, listening and affection, revealing music as a language of formation, sharing and growth. Between tradition and innovation, this concert promotes an immersive experience, capable of transforming performers and audiences on both sides of the stage.

Lebanon Hanover return to Portugal to present Asylum Lullabies, with shows at Hard Club and LAV, promising melancholic, hypnotic dark wave.

Full details

After selling out two concerts in Lisbon and Porto in 2023, Lebanon Hanover return to Portugal in 2026 to present live their new tour, inspired by the latest album “Asylum Lullabies”, released this year. The cult duo of European dark wave will take the stage at Hard Club (Porto) on 20 November and at LAV, Lisboa Ao Vivo (Lisbon) on 21 November 2026. Considered one of the most striking references in contemporary post-punk, Lebanon Hanover are described as “a cold answer to an alienated world, coming from two warm hearts”. Larissa Iceglass and William Maybelline present themselves as true romantics of the modern era: admirers of William Wordsworth, fascinated by art nouveau aesthetics, attentive to British coastal beauty and its night forests, but equally inspired by Berlin’s dark urbanism. With “Asylum Lullabies”, the duo deepens their characteristic minimalist, melancholic and intensely emotional universe, exploring new textures and sonic approaches that consolidate their unique artistic signature. The poetic intensity and noir aesthetic of Lebanon Hanover promise two unmissable nights, full of dense atmospheres, hypnotic rhythms and the authenticity that has earned them a legion of followers across Europe. Tickets for these shows are already on sale at symbiose.pt and usual outlets for the single price of €27. Doors: 8:00 PM. Start: 9:00 PM.

Show original (Portuguese)

Portas: 20h00. Início: 21h00.
