Commented concert by Susana Henriques. Lisbon Music Academy. Between Samurai and Violins proposes a musical journey inspired by the life and thought of Shinichi Suzuki, a major figure in 20th-century music pedagogy. Born into a lineage of samurai and a member of the family that owned the world's largest instrument factory, his path was marked by a late discovery of the violin, by his time in Berlin, by his friendship with Einstein and by the formulation of the 'mother tongue' principle. This concert celebrates a legacy that combines discipline, listening and affection, revealing music as a language of formation, sharing and growth. Between tradition and innovation, this concert promotes an immersive experience, capable of transforming performers and audiences on both sides of the stage.

Beethoven Pilgrimage: from the Apotheosis to the Grand Ending Fuga João Roiz Ensemble In January 2025, the João Roiz Ensemble, in collaboration with Alexandre Delgado, began the Beethoven Pilgrimage 2025-2025, evoking the 200th anniversary of the death of the Van Beethoven (1770, 1827). This national project celebrates the life and work of the composer and his contribution to European humanism. Over three years, the Ensemble performs the complete chamber music of Beethoven — string trios, quartets and string voices — throughout the country. The initiative, unprecedented in Portugal, offers the audience a deep knowledge of the composer’s work and thought. The concerts are commented live by Alexandre S Metro, who enters into a dialogue with the audience, placing each works historically and aesthetically. The final concert, at Centro Cultural de Cultura de Belém, marks the 200th anniversary of Beethoven’s death, with the interpretation of the Quartet Quartet Op. 59 No. 3 and the Great Fuge Op. 133, works of extraordinary strength and transcendence. Peregrinação Beethoven: do Apogeu à Grande Fuga João Roiz Ensemble Em janeiro de 2025, o João Roiz Ensemble, em colaboração com Alexandre Delgado, iniciou a Peregrinação Beethoven 2025, 2027 , evocando os 200 anos da morte de Ludwig van Beethoven (1770, 1827).
