The Regional Delegation, Lisbon Metropolitan Area, of the Associação Portuguesa de Bibliotecários, Arquivistas, Profissionais da Informação e Documentação (BAD), in partnership with the Cascais Municipal Council, will promote the 2nd Meeting of Archives of the Lisbon Metropolitan Area. The Lisbon Metropolitan Area, made up of 18 municipalities where, according to the 2021 census, more than 2,870,000 inhabitants resided, brings together a set of archives that manage information fundamental to the administration of a large number of public and private entities, but also to the reconstitution of collective history.
