Through skilful folds and knots, the same cloth can adapt to different shapes and volumes. The origins of furoshiki date back to the 8th century and it is now popular again, both for its versatility and because it is an ecological and sustainable practice that reduces the consumption of paper or plastic. With various textures, sizes and patterns, furoshiki is functional and reusable, as well as appealing and distinctive. Come learn how to make furoshiki wrapping for your Christmas gifts.
