In the midst of the Occupation, the Vichy government prepares a mass raid on foreign Jews. It is in this context that Daniel Auteuil sets La Troisième Nuit, a kind of "French Schindler's List" that turns the bureaucracy of horror into a powerful drama of resistance. Between offices, administrative decisions and clandestine networks, two men join forces to defy the State and save lives. Presented in the Cannes Première section, Auteuil delivers a dignified, moving and necessary film for our collective memory.
