Producer Cego Surdo e Mudo, Lda Synopsis Every year the Monsters bring together the most unusual, bizarre and talked-about moments in Portuguese society. There are 14 categories and more than 100 nominations. The Monsters of the Year began 12 years ago. Over these 12 years, almost everyone has been nominated, and we managed to make all of them — nominees and winners — understand that the monsters are friends and exist to glorify the unusual, applaud the absurd and embrace what makes us unique. The Monsters of the Year is the funniest ceremony of all the funny ceremonies you know, and for that reason it became inevitable to go on tour, to show everyone what has happened in the meantime. Especially those who still don't know it. But also those who have followed us from the beginning. Fernando Alvim, radio and television presenter on Antena 3 and RTP1, is the creator and indomitable host of the ceremony, leading it for 90 minutes, presenting each of the 14 categories and the more than 100 nominees, with the winner of the monsters decided by the audience in each city where it stops. Supplementary Notes Expected duration of the event: 2h. This duration may change. The show will be recorded.
