Pianist Felipe Novellino presents two great composers of the Romantic tradition. The music of Rachmaninoff and Liszt is born of the same restlessness: the search for a language capable of translating what goes beyond words. In the Ten Preludes Op. 23, Rachmaninoff traverses different states of the soul, passing through nostalgia, anguish, contemplation, despair, and passion, creating a spiritual journey through sound. In Après une lecture du Dante, Liszt takes this journey to an almost visionary dimension. Inspired by the universe of the Divine Comedy, the work crosses regions of shadow and torment until it reaches moments of light and transcendence, in one of the most intense manifestations of the Romantic piano. This program invites the listener on a journey that begins with introspection and rises toward the sublime. O pianista Felipe Novellino apresenta dois grandes compositores da tradição romântica. A música de Rachmaninoff e Liszt nasce de uma mesma inquietação: a procura por uma linguagem capaz de traduzir aquilo que ultrapassa as palavras. Nos dez Prelúdios op. 23, Rachmaninoff percorre diferentes estados da alma, atravessando a nostalgia, a angústia, a contemplação, o desespero e a paixão, criando uma viagem espiritual através do som. Em Après une lecture du Dante, Liszt conduz essa viagem para uma dimensão quase visionária. Inspirada no universo da Divina Comédia, a obra atravessa regiões de sombra e tormento até alcançar momentos de luz e transcendência, numa das mais intensas manifestações do piano romântico. Este programa convida o ouvinte a uma jornada que parte da introspeção e se eleva em direção ao sublime.
