In this workshop, participants observe fish representations in the Museu do Oriente exhibitions and learn the Japanese printing technique Gyotaku, applying it to fish and plants. Led by Isabel Constantino Gonçalves and Marisa Noblejas, it requires no previous experience and is aimed at ages 14+.

Brief Introduction With Isabel Constantino Gonçalves and Marisa Noblejas* Schedule: 10:30 am – 1 pm Minimum number of participants: 6 Maximum number of participants: 10 Target audience: 14+ How many representations of fish are there in the Museu do Oriente exhibitions? We will observe them and then discover a traditional Japanese technique that fishermen used in the 19th century to accurately record the size and detail of their catches. In this workshop, we will talk about this technique, learn a little of its history, understand how it works and, finally, learn to apply it to the world of fish and the plant world. No experience is needed, only a willingness to explore different creative forms. In case of cancellation: A full refund of the registration fee will be made when cancellation is communicated up to 8 working days before the activity. After that date, a refund can only be considered if the place is filled or in situations of illness, accident or other duly proven force majeure. If the activity does not take place due to lack of participants or for another reason, the registration fee will be refunded in full. For more information contact *Isabel Gonçalves, psychologist and university professor, took the Scientific Illustration course and numerous workshops and courses in different drawing, painting, ceramics and ceramic painting techniques. Training with professor Pedro Salgado on the Japanese Gyotaku technique of fish printing opened doors to freer and more intuitive experiences of this technique – applied mainly to the plant world. With the artist Marisa Noblejas, she runs artistic workshops for children, young people and families, using different techniques and materials. Marisa Noblejas, degree in Philosophy and painter. Her artistic training took place at the Sociedade Nacional de Belas Artes de Lisboa, where she attended courses in Painting, Drawing, Tutorial Painting Regime, Art History, Aesthetics Themes, Cinema and Contemporary Art. She trained at SNBA, at the Gulbenkian Foundation and at MoMA in NY in different artistic areas. Since the late 1980s she has been present in group and solo exhibitions with award-winning works. Breve Introdução Com Isabel Constantino Gonçalves e Marisa Noblejas* Horário: 10h30 às 13h Número mínimo de participantes: 6 Número máximo de participantes: 10 Público-alvo: M/14 Quantas representações de peixes existem pelas exposições do Museu do Oriente? Vamos observá-las para, depois, descobrir uma técnica tradicional japonesa que os pescadores usavam para no século XIX, registar com precisão o tamanho e o detalhe das suas capturas. Nesta oficina, vamos falar desta técnica, conhecer um pouco a sua história, entender como funciona e, por último, aprender a aplicá-la no mundo dos peixes e no mundo vegetal. Não é necessária experiência, apenas vontade de explorar diferentes formas criativas. Em caso de desistência: Haverá lugar ao reembolso do valor total da inscrição quando a desistência for comunicada até 8 dias úteis antes da actividade. Com a artista Marisa Noblejas, orienta oficinas artísticas para crianças, jovens e famílias, com a utilização de diferentes técnicas e materiais. Marisa Noblejas , Licenciada em Filosofia e Pintora. A sua formação artística foi feita na Sociedade Nacional de Belas Artes de Lisboa, local onde frequentou cursos de Pintura, Desenho, Regime Tutorial de Pintura, História de Arte, Temas de Estética, Cinema e Arte Contemporânea. Fez formações na SNBA, na Fundação Gulbenkian e no Moma de NY em diferentes áreas artísticas. Desde o fim dos anos 80 está presente em Exposições Coletivas e Individuais com obras premiadas.
