A drawing and painting workshop for children aged 6 to 14, inviting them to imagine and draw the mythical figure Caquesseitão and to look for the actual object in the museum, then reinterpret it with unusual materials.

Brief Introduction CHILDREN'S WORKSHOPS Saturday | 10 October Timings: 10.30am–11pm Minimum number of participants: 6 children Maximum number of participants: 10 children Target audience: children from 6 to 14 Come and know Caquesseitão, a medieval mythological figure recreated in the 17th century. In this workshop we will draw an imaginary animal first, before seeing the real one, using the ink-spot technique. Afterwards, we will look for the animal actually in the museum!!! Will your children recognise it from the drawing they created? Tales of imaginary views, line and collage to build the Caquesseitão and a reinterpretation of this sought-after piece with unusual materials like buttons – that is the challenge of the afternoon. This workshop is based on the existing account of the Aquamanil by Fernão Mendes of Miranda and “Mythological Monsters of Ancient Greece” by Sara Fanelli. Cancellation policy: There will be full refund of the registration fee when the cancellation is sent up to 8 business days before the activity. After that date, a refund can be considered only if the place is, in general, re-filled or for circumstances of illness, accident or other evidence of force, etc. If we don't run if there are not enough participants or any other reason, the full fee is paid back. Together with artist Clement? They conduct artistic studios for kids, young people and families, using different techniques and material. Marisa Noblejas, degree degree in Philosophy and a Painter. He was formed in Lisbon at the National Society of Fine Arts, with classes in Painting, Drawing, Artes, Aesthetics, cinema and contemporary art. Breve Introdução OFICINAS PARA CRIANÇAS 10 Outubro | Sábado Horas: 10.30 às 13.00 Número mínimo de participantes: 6 crianças Número máximo de participantes: 10 crianças Público-alvo: crianças dos 6 aos 14 Vem conhecer o Caquesseitão, uma figura mitológica da Idade Média, recriada no século XVII. Nesta oficina, desenharemos com as crianças, através da técnica da mancha, um animal imaginário (antes de o conhecer) e, depois, procuraremos esse animal no próprio museu!!! Será que a partir do desenho que fizeram, o reconhecerão? Ouvir relatos de monstros imaginários, construir o Caquesseitão através da linha e recortes e reinterpretar esta querida peça com materiais inusitados como botões, é o desafio desta oficina. Esta oficina foi elaborada com base no relato existente do Aquamanil por parte de Fernão Mendes Pinto e no Livro Mythological Monsters of ancient Greece de Sara Fanelli. Em caso de desistência: Haverá lugar ao reembolso do valor total da inscrição quando a desistência for comunicada até 8 dias úteis antes da actividade. Depois dessa data, o reembolso só poderá ser considerado se o lugar for preenchido ou em situações de doença, acidente, ou outros imponderáveis de força maior, devidamente comprovados.Caso a actividade não se realize por falta de participantes, ou por outro motivo, o valor da inscrição será devolvido na sua totalidade. Uma formação com o professor Pedro Salgado, sobre a técnica Japonesa Gyotaku de impressão de peixes, abriu portas a novas experiências mais livres e intuitivas desta técnica - aplicada principalmente ao mundo vegetal. Com a artista Marisa Noblejas, orienta oficinas artísticas para crianças, jovens e famílias, com a utilização de diferentes técnicas e materiais. Marisa Noblejas , Licenciada em Filosofia e Pintora. A sua formação artística foi feita na Sociedade Nacional de Belas Artes de Lisboa, local onde frequentou cursos de Pintura, Desenho, Regime Tutorial de Pintura, História de Arte, Temas de Estética, Cinema e Arte Contemporânea. Fez formações na SNBA, na Fundação Gulbenkian e no Moma de NY em diferentes áreas artísticas. Desde o fim dos anos 80 está presente em Exposições Coletivas e Individuais com obras premiadas.
