Full details

Stop everything. Mount Kimbie are programming our Baile. On the night of October 24th, the pioneering duo shares their Tunnelvision with us. This residency, for the first time in Portugal, is an extension of their sound, where techno, house, British bass music and ambient electronics intertwine. The highlight of the night is the dj set from these icons of British bass music (and its offshoots), in the Rés do Chão. But the rest of the line-up was also hand-picked by Dominic Maker and Kai Campos. Such is the case of re:fi, a reference of the contemporary British underground, guiding drum’n’bass toward the future, in the Rés do Chão. And of the Spanish dj and producer JASSS, who will take over the Sótão. Joining them will be some of the most exciting names from the local scene. Such is the case of Adriana Ruas, in the Rés do Chão; Bernardo Vaz, on the Primeiro Andar; Sheri Vari and Cruz, in the Sótão. Get ready for a night of solid, unpretentious partying. :: Stop the presses. Mount Kimbie are taking over Casa Capitão! Pioneering electronic music duo Mount Kimbie presents Tunnelvision. Both an extension of their sound and a series of residency takeovers, showcasing boundary-pushing techno, house, uk bass and ambient electronics. On October 24th, at Casa Capitão, the uk bass greats will be djing and sharing the stage with hand-picked artists, like re:fi, a fixture in the contemporary british underground, bringing drum’n’bass into the future; and Spanish DJ and music producer JASSS. The line-up also features some top notch Portuguese talent, including Adriana Ruas, Bernardo Vaz, Sheri Vari, and Cruz. Just flawless, unfussy fun.
