Pablo Fidalgo's solo work traces the discovery of the origin of a pain that settled in the body in childhood and the silence that protected it for years, as part of his trilogy La enciclopedia del dolor. Tickets are available only at the theatre's physical box office, through the Passe Cultura programme.

Full details

A work about the discovery of the origin of a pain that settles in the body still in childhood and the silence that protected it for years. We follow a man through the labyrinth of his own identity: how do you build yourself when the first foundation was born cracked? Between the anaesthesia of everyday life and the edge of despair, he reaches the point of no return: “either I tell it, or I die”. It is the account of the initial stuttering, of anguish and desire, in a world that imposes constant pleasure and perfection, while his own body becomes the only “impossible”. A revelation that is, above all, a beginning. This play is part of La enciclopedia del dolor, a trilogy about the stages of life, around the notion of pain and the construction of our bodies and identities. The show is part of Passe Cultura, available only at the theatre's physical box office. Technical sheet: Text, direction and performance by Pablo Fidalgo; co-creation with Pablo Fidalgo.
