Synopsis Those most attentive to the Portuguese music scene have known the name Margarida Campelo for many years, a recurring and striking presence in shows and concerts by Bruno Pernadas, Cassete Pirata, Joana Espadinha and Minta & The Brook Trout, among other bands and artists. As a solo artist, she debuted in 2023 with Supermarket Joy, an album in which she explores territories of pop, soul, R&B and experimental jazz with a mastery reserved for few. The album was unanimously well received by the Portuguese critics, opening space for a new recording work in 2026. After releasing Mexe-te Mais um Pouco, Margarida Campelo started 2025 with the ballad Eu Sei Que o Amor, a finalist song of Festival da Canção that crossed the Atlantic and traveled to Brazil with her quartet.
