The 5th Santa Maria Maior New Year's Race starts from Praça do Comércio on 3 January 2027, featuring a 400 m Kids Race, a 10 km run and a 5 km mini-run/walk through Lisbon's historic centre.

The Junta de Freguesia de Santa Maria Maior and Xistarca are joining forces once again to provide a unique experience: the 5th Santa Maria Maior Great New Year's Race! The event takes place on 3 January 2027 (Sunday), with the start at the emblematic Praça do Comércio, in Lisbon's historic centre. The course runs through some of the city's most emblematic streets and will be divided into three events: the 400 m Kids Race, the 10 km Run and the 5 km Mini-Run/Walk. Registration is already open, preferably online, and can also be done in person at Xistarca's facilities on weekdays. All participants will be given a participation kit. A Junta de Freguesia de Santa Maria Maior e a Xistarca voltam a unir forças para proporcionar uma experiência única: a 5.ª Grande Corrida de Ano Novo Santa Maria Maior! O evento realiza-se no dia 3 de janeiro de 2027 (domingo), com partida da emblemática Praça do Comércio, no centro histórico de Lisboa. O percurso percorre algumas das ruas mais emblemáticas da cidade e será dividido em três modalidades: Kids Race de 400 m, Corrida de 10 km e Mini-Corrida/Caminhada de 5 km. As inscrições já se encontram abertas, preferencialmente online, podendo também ser efetuadas presencialmente nas instalações da Xistarca, durante os dias úteis.
