Synopsis Pre-concert talk by Alexandre Delgado at 19:30 Portuguese Chamber Orchestra and Amandine Beyer The Portuguese Chamber Orchestra returns to the Baroque universe with a programme devoted to Vivaldi and some of his contemporaries. Violinist Amandine Beyer, internationally recognised for the intensity and clarity of her interpretations, joins the OCP in a concert marked by the energy, rigour and vitality of this repertoire. Between different sounds and languages of the Baroque period, the programme travels through the music of composers who helped define an era of great innovation and expressiveness. A meeting between two references of early music, brought together by the strength and modernity of the music of Vivaldi and his time.
