Producer Central Concert Sarl Synopsis Grand New Year's Concert Strauss Festival Orchestra Strauss Festival Ballet Ensemble The most famous tour in Europe. Inspired by the traditional musical gathering held every year in Vienna, the Grand New Year's Concert, after the success of previous editions, offers an attractive selection of the best waltzes, polkas, and marches by Strauss. The Strauss Festival Orchestra and the Strauss Festival Ballet Ensemble perform well-known titles by the Austrian musician, such as Napoleon, Flower Festival, Klipp Klapp, The Emperor Waltz, or Champagne. The most famous waltz of all, the magnificent Blue Danube, will not be missing, nor the Radetzky March, which, to the rhythm of the audience's applause, usually closes the night. More than five million spectators have already attended and acclaimed the Strauss Festival Orchestra's production across Europe: at the Musikverein in Vienna, Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, at the Philharmonie in Berlin, at the Musikhalle in Hamburg, at the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome, at the Gran Teatre del Liceu or at the Palau de la Música in Barcelona, at the Teatro Real and at the Auditorio Nacional de Música in Madrid, at the Coliseums of Lisbon and Porto, etc. The ballet, with stylized choreographies and dreamlike costumes, restores an essential aspect to those musical compositions conceived to accompany dance. The concert constitutes one of the culminating moments of the Euroconcert musical season, not only for the extraordinary festive atmosphere surrounding this spectacular program but also for the enormous participation of an audience that, year after year, enthusiastically attends the concert to celebrate the arrival of the New Year.
