Throughout October, the Casa do Jardim da Estrela — Um Teatro em Cada Bairro, a Lisbon City Council cultural venue — hosts shows, playful and cultural activities, a library service and a xiloteca (wood-sample collection), Tuesday to Saturday from 10h to 18h, with free entry.
The Casa do Jardim da Estrela, Um Teatro em Cada Bairro is a cultural facility of the Lisbon City Council, open to the city, to artists and to the people of Lisbon, for the building of a more sustainable, more supportive and more participatory society. Besides the shows, playful and cultural activities and library service, it houses a xiloteca presenting an organised collection of wood samples for scientific, pedagogical and cultural purposes.
