Carlos No presents the installation ÓSTRACOS at the Fundação Carmona e Costa, addressing the fragility of the human condition, exclusion and the imbalances born of social dynamics, political choices or war.

Carlos No brings to the Fundação Carmona e Costa an installation that summons questions that have long had a place in his work: the fragility of the human condition, exclusion, the margins and the imbalances resulting from social dynamics, from the helplessness created by political choices or by war. The singular place that ÓSTRACOS occupies in Carlos No's work thus stems not so much from the expectations of meaning that the title confers on it, but from the complexification that the material worked and the production process conceived by the artist confer on it.
