The visitable reserves of the National Museum of Ethnology hold around 3000 objects, with the Rural Life Galleries, dedicated to agriculture, herding and traditional technologies in rural Portugal, and the Amazon Galleries, showing the museum's entire collection from Amerindian societies, open by prior appointment from Tuesday to Friday.
The visitable reserve sector of the National Museum of Ethnology houses a total of around 3000 pieces. The Rural Life Galleries are a space dedicated to the collections illustrating the themes of agriculture, herding, traditional technologies and domestic equipment in rural society in Portugal. The Amazon Galleries present to the public the entirety of the National Museum of Ethnology's objects from Amerindian societies, especially from the Amazon rainforest.
