A visit to the Royal Astronomical Observatory of Lisbon, in the Tapada da Ajuda, commissioned by D. Pedro V and once Portugal's National Observatory, whose collection, library and archive are unmatched in the country.

The Royal Astronomical Observatory of Lisbon, located in the Tapada da Ajuda, was commissioned by D. Pedro V. Now known as the Lisbon Astronomical Observatory, it was Portugal's National Observatory, a reference institution. Its scientific and historical importance, together with its collection, library and archive, is unmatched in the country. Tours: 26 August: 15h00, 16h00.
