At Fundação Carmona e Costa, Carlos No presents the installation ÓSTRACOS, which addresses the fragility of the human condition, exclusion and the imbalances born of social dynamics, political choices or war.

Carlos No brings to Fundação Carmona e Costa an installation that summons questions that have long had a place in his work: the fragility of the human condition, exclusion, the margins and the imbalances resulting from social dynamics, from the helplessness created by political options or by war. The singular place that ÓSTRACOS occupies in Carlos No's work thus stems not so much from the expectations of meaning that the title confers on it, but from the complexification conferred on it by the worked matter and the production process conceived by the artist.
