A visit to the National Museum of Ethnology's visitable reserves, home to some 3,000 pieces including the Rural Life Galleries and the Amazon Galleries, by prior appointment from Tuesday to Friday.
The visitable reserve sector of the National Museum of Ethnology houses a total of about 3,000 pieces. The Rural Life Galleries are a space dedicated to collections illustrating the themes of agriculture, herding, traditional technologies and domestic equipment in rural society in Portugal. The Amazon Galleries present to the public the entirety of the National Museum of Ethnology's objects from Amerindian societies, especially from the Amazon forest.
