Catarina Miranda presents a dance piece created with 3rd-year students of the Escola Superior de Dança at Teatro Municipal São Luiz, exploring an ecology of perception in which the body coexists with the light that reveals it, the sound that alters it and places that overlap and blur.
The piece approaches an ecology of perception, where the body ceases to be the absolute centre of the experience and coexists with the light that reveals and dissolves it, with the sound that alters its presence, and with places that overlap, contaminate and confuse one another. The project stems from an invitation by the Escola Superior de Dança and the Teatro Municipal São Luiz for a collaboration between Catarina Miranda and the 3rd-year students, with music by Luís Pestana and lighting design by Pedro Guimarães and Ana Luísa Novais. Free entry subject to room capacity. Tickets available on the day itself at the Teatro box office from 15h (up to 4 per person). Free.
