At CAM, Diogo Pimentão presents sculptural drawing works, made mainly with paper and graphite, that result from a performative action carried out in the exhibition space with French dancer and choreographer Emmanuel Eggermont.
The practice and the redefinition of drawing are the central axis of Diogo Pimentão's work. Using mainly paper and graphite, sometimes in combination with cement, acrylic plaster or wood, and also creating video and performance, the artist's works challenge the traditional limits of the discipline.
